Restorations

This set of six vintage chairs came to us with quite a story. Some of them had serious breaks — even entire legs that had snapped off — while the original varnish had been heavily damaged by years of sunlight. We carefully re-glued and repaired the broken parts, then sanded each chair down and treated the wood with oil to restore its natural beauty and strength. The client decided to keep the original upholstery, which we preserved with great care so the chairs would retain their authentic character. Now, these chairs are ready for many more years of use — refreshed, sturdy, and full of history.

This set of four chairs underwent a full restoration in our workshop, with a focus on both comfort and aesthetics. The wooden frames were completely disassembled, re-glued for a solid construction, carefully sanded, and re-oiled to bring out the warm natural grain of the wood. The seating comfort was also renewed: the foam in the seats was replaced with high-quality material for long-lasting support. For the upholstery, we selected an elegant white bouclé from our own collection — a soft, luxurious fabric that gives the chairs a fresh and timeless look. The result is a set that is not only structurally sound but also visually striking.
